The first Eataly location in New York City, Eataly Flatiron, turns 10 years old. “On August 31st 10 years ago we opened Eataly New York Flatiron” – Eataly’s General Manager in the US, Dino Borri, wrote on his Instagram profile. “It would have been the first full day of an incredible adventure: the rest is history… But the best thing is that we were few, now we are thousands, thanks to all the Eataly collaborators who have made this project a reality…HAPPY BIRTHDAY @eatalyflatiron, happy birthday @eatalyusa” – Borri wrote.
Thanks to the success of the greatest global Italian food hall in New York City, many other locations have been opened in the following years throughout the USA, starting with Eataly Downtown at the World Trade Center, the second NYC store of the food retail group founded and developed by the Italian entrepreneur Oscar Farinetti. Then, following a continuous and growing success came Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Dallas.
