Key themes of the initiative revolved around animal welfare, food safety, and environmental sustainability. Notable attendees included Assocarni’s Director General, Francois Tomei, along with representatives from the Italian Embassy in Beijing and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in the Chinese capital. The Opposite House Hotel in Beijing played host to approximately seventy representatives from China’s prominent distribution channels and industry associations active in the sector.
Highlighting the versatility and distinct flavor profile that has long characterized Italian beef, renowned Italian chef Fabio Falanga meticulously crafted a dedicated light dinner. Falanga, well-known in China, captivated guests with a dedicated beef cooking show and further delighted them with an extensive tasting experience.
