A leader in the production, portioning, and packaging of traditional Italian cheeses, DalterFood Group is attending PLMA 2024 with the aim of strengthening its position in the private label sector.

In a year that has seen the continued growth trend of private label products, DalterFood Group is excited to participate in PLMA, a key event for the industry,” says Andrea Guidi, General Manager of the Reggio Emilia-based company. “PLMA is an ideal showcase to present our extensive offerings dedicated to this market, combining our expertise in producing Parmigiano Reggiano PDO with our proficiency in selecting and cutting the finest Italian and foreign cheeses.”

The highlight of the company’s private label offerings is Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, produced in its two mountain dairies – Caseificio Colline di Selvapiana e Canossa and Caseificio Colline del Cigarello e Canossa. DalterFood Group offers a range of varieties and maturations (from 12 to over 40 months). The offerings include both classic and organic Parmigiano Reggiano, with full traceability at every stage of production and certified according to organic product standards.

DalterFood Group also presents this Italian excellence in the “Mountain Product” variety, which is particularly aromatic with a distinctive flavor, produced in mountain dairies with milk from farms located in mountainous areas and aged for a minimum of 20 months, including at least 12 months in mountain warehouses.

Even more distinctive is the Parmigiano Reggiano Solo di Pezzata Rossa Italiana, produced exclusively at the group’s Colline del Cigarello e Canossa mountain dairy. This high-quality cheese, certified as a “Mountain Product” and organic, is made solely with milk from a single cow breed, the Pezzata Rossa (red dappled), sourced from a single farm in the mountainous region.
