Award-winning bartender Valentino Longo in Houston for the Mediterranean Aperitivo project

Media and trade professionals are invited to Valentino Longo’s (pictured above) masterclasses, where he will demonstrate the art of the Mediterranean Aperitivo with Vermouth di Torino. The masterclasses are organized by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas.

We are thrilled to introduce a touch of our aperitivo heritage to Texas, emphasizing the significance of understanding the meticulous process of crafting Vermouth di Torino, step by step, along with the other products part of the project,” states Roberto Bava, President of the Consortium for the protection and promotion of Vermouth di Torino.

The aperitivo culture has been flourishing in recent years, especially in states like Texas, where some of the best bars and bartenders are,” says Valentino Longo, award-winning bartender. “I believe grasping the intricacies behind it is fundamental to the evolution of our bar industry.”

Mediterranean Aperitivo Project is a three-year campaign co-financed by the European Union. It is working to promote iconic European products in an aperitivo like: Vermouth di Torino PGI, Pecorino Toscano PDO, Limone Costa d’Amalfi PGI and Olives from Greece. The products reflect a lifestyle when enjoying an aperitivo, the Mediterranean way.
