Eataly has officially opened its first U.S. airport location at John F. Kennedy International Airport, marking a new milestone in the brand’s North American expansion. Located in Terminal 8, the opening introduces two distinct yet complementary spaces designed to bring Italian lifestyle and cuisine to international travelers.
The main restaurant spans 5,526 square feet and seats 130 guests, offering a menu centered on traditional pizza, artisanal pasta, and regional Italian specialties. Adjacent to the restaurant, Eataly has launched a wine bar with seating for 45 guests, featuring a curated selection of Italian wines from the North to the South of the country. Completing the offer, the Eataly caffè provides Grab & Go options, coffee, soft drinks, curated retail items, and other quick-service choices tailored to travelers on the move.
The company confirmed that the Terminal 8 opening is only the first step in a broader airport strategy at JFK. Additional Eataly locations are planned for Terminals 4 and 5 later this year, further expanding the brand’s presence within one of the busiest international gateways in the United States.
In announcing the opening, Eataly expressed appreciation to its strategic and institutional partners, including T8 – HMSHost by Avolta, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, American Airlines, and ASUR Airports, whose collaboration supported the launch of the project. With this debut, Eataly brings its established combination of Italian hospitality, food retail, and casual dining into the U.S. airport environment for the first time.
