The world’s most exclusive gastronomic society, the Club des Chefs des Chefs, founded in 1977 at the Paul Bocuse restaurant—France’s iconic culinary institution in Collonges-au-Mont-d’Or—made its first visit to Parma yesterday, beginning with a tour of Barilla’s headquarters. After a meeting at the Quirinale with Italy’s President, Sergio Mattarella, the chefs were welcomed by Barilla and its Academia to delve into Italian cuisine and its most celebrated dish: pasta.
“The members of the Club des Chefs des Chefs are proud to count Barilla as a trusted global partner. The company is a leading ambassador of Italian cuisine around the world. During their stay in Parma, they’ll have the rare opportunity to visit the world’s largest pasta production facility—a truly unique experience,” said Gilles Bragard, founder of the Club.
The day ended with a dinner celebrating Italy’s culinary heritage, bringing together tradition, taste, and hospitality. “It’s a honor to host the Club des Chefs des Chefs at Barilla’s Food Academy and share this extraordinary moment focused on pasta,” noted Ilaria Rossi, head of Academia Barilla. “This is also an opportunity to continue spreading Italian gastronomic culture globally, in line with our mission to create a worldwide culture of food.”
Among the esteemed chefs were Fabrizio Boca, Executive Chef of the Quirinale, Fabrice Desvignes of the Élysée, Cristeta Comerford of the White House, and Christian Garcia, President of the Club and Executive Chef of Monaco’s royal household.
