Pinsami, the distinguished Italian bakery headquartered in Reggio-Emilia specializing in the production of pinsa and pinsa bases, closed out 2023 with a resounding 45% surge in revenues compared to the preceding year—an ascent from 16.8 to 24.4 million euros in turnover. This achievement can be predominantly attributed to great performances in foreign markets, witnessing an exponential +125% growth in exports.
Projections for 2024 paint a picture of even greater success, with anticipated revenues scaling up to 33 million euros. This expansion will be underscored by an augmented production capacity, scaling from the current 100,000 pinsas per day to an ambitious 236,000.
For the third consecutive year, Pinsami has earned its place among the distinguished ranks of ‘FT 1000 – Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies,’ a testament to its enduring prowess on the international stage. The company stands out as one of the most formidable entities in Europe within its sector, charting an impressive trajectory from a local enterprise to a global powerhouse in a mere seven years.
Boasting an absolute growth of +717.8% and a CAGR of 101.50%, the Italian bakery company claims the 246th spot in the Financial Times ranking and a notable fifth place in the food industry ranking.
Commenting on this achievement, Fabio Grillo, CEO of Pinsami, states, “Securing a place in this prestigious ranking for the third consecutive year fills us with a sense of accomplishment. It underscores the value we’ve meticulously built over the years, positioning us as industry leaders and active contributors to the dynamic growth of an expanding market.”
Mauro Dalle Vacche, the co-CEO of Pinsami, adds insight, stating, “Our distinctive strengths lie in product quality and brand value. By early 2025, we are poised to introduce a new production line, further amplifying our production capacity and unveiling a suite of new, premium-quality offerings.”
