Italian wine lovers in Ireland congregated at the Borsa Vini Italiani (Italian Wine Exchange) in Dublin for an initiative orchestrated by the Italian Trade Agency. The event featured the participation of 30 Italy’s wine companies representing 13 Italian regions.
The tasting session played a pivotal role in strategically reaching the Irish beverage sector, providing Italian producers with a gateway to fresh business prospects and enhancing the Made in Italy brand image within the local market.
The wine import landscape in Ireland continues its upward trajectory, with Italy presently holding the fifth position among Ireland’s suppliers. Its market share stands at 10.4%, trailing behind Chile, Spain, Australia, and France.
