The Consortium for the protection of Pecorino Romano PDO has opened a new tender for the selection of an executing agency for a 1.4 million euro information and promotion project aimed at the Japanese market.

The information and promotion program will run for three years (2024-2026) aiming to strengthen and expand the presence of Pecorino Romano PDO in Japan. The Consortium aims to strengthen competitiveness, recognition, and consumption of high-quality European agri-food products through this famous Italian cheese, an indispensable ingredient for authentic Carbonara and Amatriciana pasta. The activities involved include public relations, website and social media, advertising, communication tools, events, and exhibitions.
