Eataly opens its flagship store in Japan

The largest Eataly store in Japan (1,100 square meters) has been inaugurated in Tokyo inside the Ginza Six complex, in the prestigious Ginza district. Eataly Ginza is Eataly’s fifth point of sale in Japan and fourth in the Tokyo metropolis. Moreover, it is the crowning achievement of a development path for the Italian group that has made it possible to conquer a location with a significant commercial surface area within the retail market in Japan.

INSIDE EATALY GINZA

The new flagship store includes a coffee shop with a counter of homemade ice-creams and pastries, a characteristic Piazzetta to recreate the pleasure of the typical Italian aperitif, a casual restaurant with a complete offer including several pasta dishes with traditional recipes and pizzas cooked in a wood oven, and the gourmet restaurant “Griglia” with both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy meat and fish cooked in a way that recreates the flavor of the Italian barbecue.

The marketplace includes a wide range of typical Italian products to prepare every meal at home, from breakfast to dinner. There is also a corner dedicated to the daily production of fresh pasta and a counter of cold cuts and cheeses, both fresh and aged: a rich assortment of the best Italian excellent products. There is also a wine shop with about 350 labels of Italian wines.

From the very first days of opening, the new flagship store has been well received by Japanese customers who have known the Eataly brand since the opening of Eataly Mitsukoshi in 2009. Eataly Ginza has been opened just a few months after Eataly Shonan, a sales point inaugurated in Fujisawa City at the beginning of July.
