This year’s annual LoveBrands ranking by Talkwalker (a multinational leader in social listening and analytics), dedicated to brands that have best managed to be appreciated by Italians, sees as its main novelty the exploit of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO at the top of the list.
The king of cheeses comes in fact in second place, right after Armani, as the most loved brand in a ranking together with world renown iconic brands such as Gucci, Prada, Bulgari, but also Ducati, Pirelli, and Lega Serie A (the Italian Football League).

“Also in 2021 we are among the most appreciated brands in the world, and we confirm ourselves as the second brand in Italy. Consumers recognize and reward the uniqueness of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO” – says Nicola Bertinelli, president of the renown Italian cheese’s protection Consortium. “This is also thanks to choices and behaviors that improve, year after year, the production supply chain. On the one hand protecting the characteristics of a product that is thousands of years old, and on the other hand encouraging companies to adopt solutions in line with consumer expectations.”
