Montasio PDO Consortium renews and enriches the Italian cheese’s brand identity by restyling the logo. All this paying homage to the product’s roots, history and heritage.
“Almost 40 years after the creation of the Consortium for the Protection of Montasio PDO cheese – says the president, Valentino Pivetta – the need to restyling the brand has matured, as well as completing it with a clear message linked to the Italian spirit and therefore to the love for the territory of origin, tradition and certified quality.”
THE NEW LOGO
Notwithstanding the “M” pictogram, by now a recognized and appreciated symbol of the skyline of the mountains of the Montasio district, the Consortium wanted to make the value of PDO certification (the only PDO food from Friuli Venezia Giulia) more easily explained. The certification logo has been inserted as an element that differentiates Montasio cheese, in its authenticity and uniqueness, from other hard cheeses.
In addition, for the benefit of the growing diffusion of this excellence on international markets, the characteristic elements of the brand have been placed on an Italian tricolor “moustache” that makes the overall image sweeter and more harmonious.
“It’s a real re-launch of the brand – says Pivetta – that aims to dialogue with the various reference targets. Montasio PDO cheese is in fact a food that accompanies the consumer at all times of the day and in his life. Without forgetting that it is naturally lactose-free.”
