Authentic Italian food is more and more known and appreciated by American consumers. Italianfood.net interviewed Phil Kafarakis – president of the Specialty Food Association – at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2018, about the experience created for the new Italian Pavilion (called ‘River Pavilion’ for its splendid view of the Hudson River). This is a special experience – said Kafarakis – we created together with the Italian Trade Commission. With Italian cuisine becoming very popular and Mediterranean diet being so important we created this event to tell buyers about authentic Italian food.
