Authentic Italian food is more and more known and appreciated by American consumers. interviewed Phil Kafarakispresident of the Specialty Food Association – at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2018, about the experience created for the new Italian Pavilion (called ‘River Pavilion’ for its splendid view of the Hudson River). This is a special experience – said Kafarakiswe created together with the Italian Trade Commission. With Italian cuisine becoming very popular and Mediterranean diet being so important we created this event to tell buyers about authentic Italian food.
