IGOR Gorgonzola, sweet or spicy?

Gluten and lactose-free, this typical Italian cheese is perfect for a healthy diet as it is rich in protein and calcium and low in cholesterol content
IGOR Gorgonzola, sweet or spicy?

IGOR Gorgonzola cheese is certified ‘naturally lactose free’ by the Italian lactose-intolerant Association (AILI), and is until today the only PDO cheese to have obtained this important certification. The Italian Ministry of Health stated that a dairy product can be called ‘naturally lactose-free’ only when it has a lactose residue lower than 0.1 g in 100 g of product. The analysis performed on IGOR Gorgonzola certify a lactose residue in 100 g of product even below the minimum parameter required by AILI. That is why this quality of this product will be clearly communicated to consumers, with the Lfree logo on the pack, provided by the Italian lactose-intolerant Association. Because in Gorgonzola the absence of lactose is a natural consequence of the production process of this cheese. Rich in protein and calcium and naturally free from gluten and lactose, Gorgonzola has a cholesterol content in a hectogram of product equal to the turkey breast, chicken, dried beef, sea bream or sea bass. For this reason, people who are intolerant or who do not digest lactose can find Gorgonzola a precious ally for not giving up taste and pleasure.
