ITALY AWAY FROM HOME – This study shows that oysters and Champagne, usually associated with luxury and a high standard of life, had to bow down to product from Italy such as buffalo mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Parma and S. Daniele ham, and the Amarone, a wine from Veneto. As far as dishes are concerned, instead, while the most international specialty of all is pizza, others are quickly becoming more and more popular. Among these are spaghetti with mussels, risotto with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, vegetable soup, pasta with tomato sauce and basil, mozzarella bites, and sun-dried tomatoes. The study also shows that Italy has a whole is famous, although there are regions that are more attractive to VIP investors than others. Leader in the ranking is Tuscany, closely followed by Veneto, Piedmont, and Emilia Romagna while the top 5 is closed by Sicily.
