Lavazza has been named Best European Commercial Coffee Roaster for the third year in a row at the European Coffee & Hospitality Awards, held on 25 November 2025. The recognition celebrates the brand’s “quality, consistency, and global reach,” confirming its ongoing leadership in the international coffee landscape.
The award is the result of thousands of peer nominations from coffee and hospitality professionals and more than 10,000 votes — a turnout that, according to the organisers, underscores the industry’s confidence in Lavazza’s vision and operational excellence.
According to Lavazza, the accolade “reflects Lavazza’s constant commitment to elevating and promoting value within the coffee category.”
A PORTFOLIO BUILT AROUND EXCELLENCE
The jury highlighted Lavazza’s capacity to deliver excellence across a diversified range of products: the distinctive craftsmanship of 1895 by Lavazza, the high-quality sustainable blends of La Reserva de ¡Tierra!, and the authentic storytelling behind Tales of Italy.
“These offerings demonstrate Lavazza’s unparalleled passion for excellence, authenticity, and sustainability,” the company stated, adding that each initiative embodies its “relentless dedication to creating exceptional coffee experiences that redefine industry standards.”
RECOGNITION FROM ALLEGRA GROUP
During the awards ceremony, Lavazza received the honour directly from the experts of Allegra Group, organisers of the event and long-time analysts of the European coffee and hospitality sectors. The ceremony brought together “the most influential leaders and key figures in coffee, foodservice, and hospitality to celebrate excellence across Europe.”
For the past 16 years, Allegra has been regarded as a benchmark for excellence in the industry, identifying trends and setting the standards that shape the market’s future. In line with its mission, this year’s edition launched the debut of Allegra’s Top 150, an expanded ranking based on sector nominations and votes collected between 25 September and 24 October 2025. More than 10,000 entries helped determine the most influential operators and suppliers across 15 major categories.
A COLLECTIVE ACHIEVEMENT
The Italian coffee giant emphasised the collective significance of the award, saying it was “received with immense pride by all members of the Lavazza group” and stands as a testament to “the dedication and hard work of every individual within the organisation, as well as their essential contribution to achieving such remarkable results.”
