The recent European Coffee Symposium in Barcelona played host to the prestigious European Coffee Awards ceremony, where Lavazza, the Italian coffee powerhouse, clinched the title of Best Coffee Roaster – Europe for 2023.
As per assessments by Allegra Group experts, who organized the event that brought together industry leaders and senior managers from prominent companies, Lavazza emerged as the preeminent coffee roaster in Europe. The event, designed to honor excellence in the coffee, catering, and hospitality sectors throughout the continent, showcased Lavazza’s outstanding performance.
THE EUROPEAN COFFEE AWARDS
The European Coffee Awards holds significant acclaim in the coffee and food-to-go industry. Notably, the award’s merit extends beyond its prestige to its meticulous evaluation process: participating companies undergo scrutiny through votes from approximately 1,500 industry members, with stringent prohibitions against self-nominations. Following this, a team of expert analysts and researchers from The World Coffee portal and 5th Wave magazine assess the nominations, meticulously selecting winners for each category.
