Eataly has opened its first store in Pennsylvania with the launch of a new location at King of Prussia, one of the largest and most prominent shopping centers in the United States. Covering more than 2,000 square meters, the store marks the company’s 17th opening in North America.

Designed to deliver an authentic taste of Italian food and wine culture, Eataly Philadelphia introduces guests to a multi-faceted experience. Its restaurant La Pizza & La Pasta offers a menu celebrating some of Italy’s most iconic dishes, alongside seasonal pizza variations, Roman-style pizza alla pala, as well as a caffetteria, pasticceria, and gelateria.

The marketplace features a wide selection of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, a pasta corner offering handmade varieties, an in-house bakery producing fresh bread daily, and a delicatessen with artisanal cured meats and cheeses. The store also houses a wine shop with a comprehensive selection of Italian wines from north to south.

Starting tomorrow, the Philadelphia store will host ten days of complimentary tastings. Producers from across Italy will be present to share their stories and offer samples of artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee, and more.

Eataly Philadelphia was created to immerse our guests in the very best of Italian gastronomy and hospitality,” said a company spokesperson at the opening event. “From the marketplace to the restaurant experience, every detail is designed to highlight the diversity and excellence of Italian food culture.”

The launch is part of a broader growth strategy for Eataly in North America. Upcoming projects include a flagship at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, a new store in West Palm Beach, Florida, the company’s fourth location in Toronto, and the expansion of the Eataly Caffè format.

With its Philadelphia opening, Eataly reinforces its position as a leading global ambassador for Italian food and wine, while continuing to expand its footprint in some of the most strategic markets across the United States and Canada.
