Ferrero’s revenue climbed to €1.82 billion, marking a 3.5% increase for the year ending August 31, 2024, compared to the previous year. The Alba-based confectionery group emphasized the “centrality of Italy in industrial development” in a statement, pointing to a €98 million investment across its four production sites in Alba (Cuneo), Pozzuolo Martesana (Milan), Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi (Avellino), and Balvano (Potenza).
Operating profit reached €57 million, up from €53.2 million a year earlier. Domestic sales saw strong value growth, driven by the launch of innovative products such as Kinderini biscuits, Nutella Gelato, and Nutella Croissant. The year also saw the debut of the Fulfil bar range.
Ferrero Industriale Italia, the group’s manufacturing division, posted €860.7 million in revenue (+6.8% from €805.7 million in 2023) and a profit of €59.6 million, up from €56.5 million in the prior year. Over the past decade, the company has invested €1.4 billion in Italy, with €98 million allocated to material assets in the most recent period.
The company also highlighted its efforts to reduce its environmental footprint and support local communities through initiatives from the Ferrero Foundation. Among its key programs is “Kinder Joy of Moving,” which encourages physical activity and a positive approach to sport among youth, alongside partnerships with Save the Children to tackle educational poverty.
