ReStore, an e-commerce service provider for large-scale retail, has made its debut in Albania through a partnership with Conad Albania to launch an online shopping platform that now offers home delivery across Tirana. ReStore has developed a multilingual site in Italian, English, and Albanian for the first time, with multi-currency functionality to accommodate transactions in Albania’s Lek. The platform allows for online and cash or card payments on delivery.
A minimum order of 3,000 Lek (about €30.62) qualifies for free delivery on the first order. Thereafter, a 200 Lek delivery fee applies, waived for orders over 5,000 Lek. Subscription options for delivery fees are also available, with monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual plans priced at 500 Lek, 1,200 Lek, and 2,000 Lek, respectively.
Barbara Labate, ReStore’s CEO, remarked, “We are excited to bring our e-grocery model beyond Italy. This project was a pivotal challenge for our team, as it involved launching a new multilingual, multi-currency platform.”
Alessandro Rosa, General Manager and CEO of Conad Albania added, “ReStore’s e-commerce platform, known for its innovation and ease of use, represents a major step forward for us. The multilingual interface allows a smoother shopping experience in a familiar language, broadening our reach to an international audience and enabling customers to shop for themselves or loved ones from abroad with global payment options.”
