The Italian flour specialist will join Romagna Coop Food and Consorzio Italia del Gusto at the Paris trade show

Molino Spadoni, Italy’s leading flour specialist since 1921, will take part in SIAL 2024, sharing exhibition space with Romagna Coop Food and, for the first time, Consorzio Italia del Gusto. The company will also feature a dedicated pizza station in the shared dining area, where its Brand Ambassador, Vincenzo Cimino, will demonstrate his craft from 10 AM to noon and again from 3 PM until closing. Cimino, a Pizza Specialist, will prepare his signature pizzas using Molino Spadoni’s tailored products for pizzerias, with toppings sourced from Consorzio Italia del Gusto partner companies.

Pinsa, the oval-shaped “sister of pizza,” will also have its spotlight during lunch, replacing bread on the Italia del Gusto restaurant menu. From 5 PM each day, the Consorzio will host an open happy hour, featuring products from its member companies.

At the Romagna Coop Food stand, Molino Spadoni will occupy a dedicated exhibition corner, while Pizza Specialist Gaetano Garofalo and Chef Marco Luongo will lead tasting sessions in the show-cooking area.

The company’s SIAL 2024 showcase will focus on its comprehensive range of products for pizzerias, including:

  • Frozen Pizza Dough Balls: Offered in various formulations, from classic to soy, multigrain, whole wheat, and charcoal, all made with sourdough.
  • Gluten-Free Frozen Pizza Bases: Individually packaged in recyclable aluminum trays to prevent cross-contamination, allowing for a crisp, flavorful pizza with any topping. Simply thaw, top, and bake in its tray.
  • Pre-cooked Frozen Pinse: Increasingly popular for its versatility, including PanPinsa, pre-cut flatbreads with a crispy exterior and soft interior, made from a blend of wheat, soy, and rice flours with sourdough and biga for a highly hydrated, airy dough.
  • Professional Flours and Blends: Featuring the Gran Mugnaio PZ range, which is ideal for pizzas with short, medium, or long fermentation, and the XLL – Extra Long Fermentation Professional Flour.
  • Retail Flours and Blends: Including 1 kg packs of Gran Mugnaio Antigrumi Flour, Gran Pinsa alla Romana Mix, and Gran Pizza alla Napoletana Mix.
