Aldi Poland puts emphasis on authentic Italian sweet bakery

Celebrating Italian bakery excellence, Aldi Poland’s latest social media campaign raises the tongue-in-cheek question: “Save the world or take a coffee break with Laurieri Master Bakers’ Cantucci?”. As the accompanying picture on LinkedIn playfully suggests, even James Bond might have chosen a Cantucci interlude. After all, why not sample these delectable treats right in Matera, the backdrop for the latest Bond film and the hometown of Cantucci producer Laurieri? “However, there’s no need to rush to Matera; a visit to Aldi Poland will suffice,” the supermarket chain states.

Since 1972, Laurieri has been baking artisanal quality snacks in the ancient, Unesco World Heritage site of Matera in Italy, an area also known well for its history of bakery tradition. Using family recipes and only the best quality ingredients, the company’s products are highly appreciated and have the most demanding standards of certification. Today, Laurieri is expanding to meet the growing requests of both local and foreign customers, with state-of-the-art production facilities designed to maintain the family tradition of taste and quality.
