Via Quadronno talks passion for Italian cuisine and dealing with the pandemic

Since 1999, Via Quadronno has been welcoming customers with a delicious selection of Italian cuisine. There’s something on the menu for everyone’s taste buds whether a customer wants a hot or cold dish. Same for someone’s schedule, if you’re in a rush you can grab a bite to eat or if you have time, you can sit down and relax.

Via Quadronno has been weathering the pandemic well. However, the restaurant has felt the effects of shipment delays with food vendors from Italy amid the pandemic. It’s been difficult to bring products in from Italy due to the pandemic. Prices have increased by more than 20% and not all products have been available the restaurant tells Italianfood.net. To evade costs of inflation the restaurant reduced menu items.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, restaurant prices jumped 0.8% in July, the largest increase since 1981. Another twist for businesses, New York City announced in August it will require anyone dining indoors at a restaurant or cocktails at a bar to show proof they’ve been inoculated. Restaurant employees also have to prove they have received at least one shot of an approved vaccine. The enforcement began this month in September. Critics argue it can slow down business.

Lucky for Via Quadronno, not far from Central Park and The Met Museum, it’s been voted one of the best outdoor restaurants. A patio for outdoor dining is heated for colder months to keep customers coming back for a cappuccino al fresco. As more and more people get vaccinated, the restaurant isn’t worried about the city’s vaccine mandate affecting business.

In addition to the classic menu, you will find a wide range of panini, open-faced toasts, and appetizers for a lighter and faster lunch.
