Italian Olive Oil in the Spotlight at SANA

Interview with Grove and Vine Oleologist, Nicholas Coleman at SANA 2019 trade show at BolognaFiere

At SANA 2019 trade show in Bologna, Italianfood.net interviewed Grove and Vine Oleologist Nicholas Coleman who came there “to find fresh, organic extra virgin olive oil from different part of Italy. American people want transparency in every production stage and they want it in their hands very very fresh – Mr Grove told us – so I’m hoping to find a producer that has all these requirements, to visit him by the end of October, make this selection and then airship the oil back to the States”. When it comes to olive oil, according to Mr Coleman the most important qualities of Italy are “micro climates and the fact that here there are more olive cultivars than in any other country”.
