A GATEWAY FOR ITALIAN FOOD & BEVERAGE
Exports of Italian food products to China reached the historical record of € 439 million in 2018, a value that has more than tripled over the last 10 years (+ 254%) with the progressive opening of the Asian lifestyle giant Westerners. Wine is the most exported product in China for a value of 127 million euros in 2018, when Italy has overtaken Spain to become the fourth exporter in the country.
“Made in Italy in China – underlines the CEO of Universal Marketing, Donato Cinelli – is a reality that deserves a growing attention from companies in our area: in fact, in recent years the volume of business between our country and China has grown enormously. Exporting to China should therefore be a necessary investment, given that in many sectors our productions are an absolute excellence, and their reputation for quality is now recognized even here, as well as in other countries of the world.”
