Veroni, specialized in all Italian cured-meat products with a strong orientation to international markets, is still keeping true to its historical mission. That’s to say, the quality of craftsmanship and the reliability of a modern and technologically advanced industrial production. Approximately 10% of its turnover, about 120 million Euro, comes from exports, with Europe, Japan, and the United States being the most strategic areas. In the American market, in particular, the company has recently opened a branch office which includes a manufacturing plant in Logan Township (New Jersey). The aim is to exploit the enormous development potential of the retail channel. Veroni’s desire to grow in the American market is also reflected in the participation in some top trade fairs. We will exhibit at the next edition of Winter Fancy Food in San Francisco – the company told ItalianFood. We will go there with a wide range of items which includes the sliced at the deli counter salami line, the chop line of 200 g, pre-packaged cold cuts, cold cuts to take away, smoked cooked ham sliced at the deli counter and Gustosella Mortadella. The packaging was designed specifically for the American market in order to enhance the distinctiveness of our deli meats: Produced in Italy, sliced and packaged in the USA. Veroni is already on the shelves of some of the most important American chains, from Kroger to Costco, from Ahold to Market Basket.
