The Grana Padano PDO Consortium is set to play a leading role at the 2026 editions of The Italian Show, a premier networking format dedicated to showcasing Italian food supply chains to international markets. Organized by I Love Italian Food, these events serve as vital hubs for connecting producers with top-tier international operators and foodservice professionals.
Global promotion and strategic outreach
The first stage of this international journey kicks off on September 29th at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London. Now in its fifth edition in the British market, the event is tailored for Horeca professionals and media, featuring over 50 Italian producers. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to taste the Grana Padano PDO Riserva (aged over 24 months), served directly from the half-wheel to highlight its aromatic profile and culinary versatility.
As part of the program, the “Grana Padano meets London’s chefs” session will host a live cooking demonstration led by Chef Carmelo Carnevale and the ICC team. This interactive segment aims to demonstrate how one of Italy’s most recognizable culinary icons integrates seamlessly with contemporary creativity.
A commitment to authenticity
Renato Zaghini, President of the Consortium, emphasized the importance of these initiatives: “Italian quality earns trust when it is narrated, tasted, and recognized in its authenticity. The Italian Show allows us to meet those who bring our cuisine to international tables every day. Whether in London or Warsaw, our goal is to continue growing the culture of the product and the ability to distinguish authentic PDO excellence.”
Following the London engagement, the promotional tour will continue on November 3rd in Warsaw, further cementing the Consortium’s strategy to prioritize direct contact with industry professionals and the ongoing education on the value of protected designations of origin.
