Pasta Garofalo, the renowned Italian pasta producer with more than two centuries of culinary heritage, has announced the launch of its new High Protein pasta line in the United States—promising exceptional nutrition without compromising authentic Italian flavor.
Crafted in Gragnano, Italy, the historical birthplace of pasta, Garofalo’s latest innovation reflects a blend of artisanal craftsmanship and nutritional science. The company sources premium durum wheat from top Italian suppliers who employ advanced milling techniques to retain the grain’s natural goodness.
The result is a pasta that is rich in protein, fiber, and essential minerals such as zinc, iron, magnesium, and potassium, while preserving the brand’s signature taste and texture.
“In a market flooded with pasta substitutes and confusing health trends, we wanted to break through the noise with a high-protein pasta made simply from premium durum wheat semolina,” said Anita Menna, brand manager of Pasta Garofalo. “This line not only delivers the nutritional benefits consumers are seeking but also stays true to our Italian heritage of craftsmanship and flavor.”
Each 3.5-ounce serving of Garofalo High Protein pasta contains 19 grams of protein, 50% more fiber than whole wheat pasta, and features a lower glycemic index, supporting digestion, energy, and satiety. The pasta is also naturally low in gluten and free from eggs, nuts, dairy, and common allergens, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary preferences and needs.
The new line will make its public debut at the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon Expo, taking place from October 30 to November 1, where attendees will have the opportunity to sample the product and learn more about its development.
High-Protein Spaghetti and Penne Rigate are currently available on Amazon, with a broader retail rollout across the U.S. planned for November 2025. Additional shapes, including Fusilli and Mafalda Corta, are slated for release in early 2026.
By combining nutritional innovation with Italian tradition, Pasta Garofalo aims to set a new standard in the growing health-conscious pasta segment—bringing the taste of Gragnano to American tables in a protein-packed form.
