Granarolo will take centre stage at the 38th edition of Anuga food fair, the world’s largest biennial trade show for food and beverages, dedicated to retail, catering, and foodservice. The fair, held in Cologne from 4–8 October 2025, is expected to draw tens of thousands of industry professionals from around the globe.
The Italian dairy group will be present with a major stand (Hall 10.1, Stand C061–C069), promoting its flagship products derived from Italy’s largest integrated milk supply chain. Granarolo will unveil its most distinctive ranges for international markets, emphasising high standards of quality, safety and service under the Made in Italy banner, while also introducing innovations shaped by evolving consumer habits worldwide.
The company’s participation aligns with its wider internationalisation strategy. Granarolo closed 2024 with 40% of revenues generated abroad—an increase on the previous year—and is aiming to strengthen its competitive position in both domestic and overseas markets, with a particular focus on Europe and the Americas.
FOCUS ON SOUTHERN ITALIAN SPECIALITIES
A highlight of this year’s showcase will be fresh cheeses from Puglia, produced at the group’s new plant in Gioia del Colle (Bari), inaugurated in May. Granarolo will present a new range of burrata, stracciatella, and mozzarella, marketed under the Perla brand (in Italy) and Granarolo brand (abroad).

New launches include frozen burrata and stracciatella made exclusively with Italian milk, alongside innovative creations such as Baking Burrata (oven-baked with ’nduja and aromatic breadcrumbs) and Truffle Burrata with real summer black truffle.
GRANAROLO EXPANDING THE PORTFOLIO OF ITALIAN PDO CHEESES
Granarolo will also showcase a broad portfolio of hard, mature, and semi-mature cheeses, including PDO varieties such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Gorgonzola, Pecorino, and goat’s cheeses. Recent accolades include 10 medals at the World Cheese Awards and 12 prizes at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards in the UK, cementing its credentials as a producer of premium Italian dairy.
New products under the Pinzani brand, including Pecorino Nero and Truffle Pecorino, will also make their debut.
INNOVATION, HEALTH, AND FUNCTIONAL LINES
The group will spotlight several of its innovation-led ranges:
- Granarolo Benessere: functional dairy products targeting specific nutritional needs, fronted by Olympic silver medallist swimmer Gregorio Paltrinieri. The focus will be on high-protein fresh cheeses and Accadì lactose-free dairy, produced exclusively with Italian milk.
- Granarolo Expert: a professional line designed for foodservice, developed with input from the Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani and the Accademia Baristi Italiani, balancing technical performance with artisanal quality.
- Casa Azzurra: premium Italian cheeses for the French market, where Granarolo is the leading player in hard Italian cheeses, second in cow’s milk mozzarella, and a leader in buffalo mozzarella and mascarpone.
- Unconventional: the group’s plant-based brand, market leader in Italy with a value share above 57% in the alternative-meat segment. Its plant-based burger, crowned “Best Vegan Burger in the World” three years running by Abillion, will be joined by new launches such as silken tofu, Mediterranean-style tofu cubes, teriyaki tofu, and mini plant-based burgers.
- Yomo: Italy’s iconic yogurt brand since 1947, now relaunching its classic whole white yogurt with a creamier, sugar-free recipe, a refreshed fat-free and lactose-free line, and a new range of kefir in both drinkable and spoonable formats.
