The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to “bringing the best of Italy to Las Vegas when we take part in the NGA show, organized by the National Grocers Association from February 23-25 at Caesar’s Forum Convention Center.”
The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, Inc. will be exhibiting with a select group of Italian brands, as well as hosting an exclusive tasting dinner and brand showcase during the event. The goal is to give companies who exhibit with them privileged access to retailers, wholesalers, and food retail industry executives with the buying power to get their products in stores throughout the country.
Founded in New York in 1887, the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is a private, not-for-profit, membership organization that represents the interests of companies that have or are interested in establishing business and commercial relations between the United States and Italy. The IACC is a member of Assocamerestero, the world association of Italian bi-national chambers, and is affiliated with the United States Chamber of Commerce and the European-American Chamber of Commerce. The offices of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce are located at 11 E. 44th Street, near Grand Central, right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan’s thriving business district.
NGA is the U.S: trade association representing the retail and wholesale grocers that comprise the independent sector of the food distribution industry. Most independent operators are serviced by wholesale distributors, while others may be partially or fully self-distributing. Some are publicly traded but with controlling shares held by the family and others are employee-owned. Independents are the true “entrepreneurs” of the grocery industry and are dedicated to their customers, associates, and communities. NGA members include retail and wholesale grocers, state grocers associations, as well as manufacturers and service suppliers.
