For the bakery Italian company Gastone Lago 2014 has been an extremely positive year also from the perspective of exports. With a presence in over 70 countries, about 38% of the company’s sales were abroad: a growth of 15% with respect to the previous year.
Among the importing countries, eight already provide over 1 million euros of sales each. However, the primary market has proven to be China, with almost 4 million items sold, almost double those of 2013. Excellent results were also seen in the Usa, England, Iberian Peninsula, Israel and, among the Arab-speaking countries, Saudi Arabia and Libya. Among the most popular products, wafers from the Party line in 250g bags and those of the Poker line in practical 45g single-serving packets stand out the most.
