Alce Nero, a leading Italian food company specialized in the production of organic food, expands by entering the ready-to-eat segment. It does so thanks to RAN, a newco dedicated to an exclusive service to hospitality facilities that want to propose a high-quality offer to their customers.
Thanks to the collaboration with BioQitchen, a company specializing in gourmet catering and part of the Hqfood&beverage group, Alce Nero is now the only company in Italy able to provide fully organic menus to hotels, resorts, hospitality facilities of excellence, and events. Its current production capacity of 12,000 meals per month will soon grow even more thanks to new projects and experiments.
The formula was launched in July with the Qc Terme group, which has so far led to the supply of over 40,000 dishes in the group’s Italian and French facilities. It will soon expand to clubhouses, golf clubs, and leading hotel chains.
A HIGH-QUALITY ORGANIC OFFER
“This is an important innovation, both for Alce Nero and the market,” says Stefano Pratesi, project manager of RAN. “Currently, we are the only Italian group able to offer such a service, which combines high quality with the organic food philosophy that has always inspired our company. Also allowing concrete savings opportunities for operators whose core business is not in the kitchen but do not want to give up a high-quality offer”.
RAN has allowed Alce Nero to open up to the world of catering and events, experiential tourism, training, and consulting. Recently, it has also found a new field of application thanks to the dishes prepared in the laboratories BioQitchen with Alce Nero products and delivered to the hospitality facilities. Food is delivered ready and in a controlled atmosphere, with all the necessary instructions to regenerate and prepare it on site. Entire menus, from breakfast to dinner including aperitifs, are made with organic Alce Nero products.
