Eataly has strengthened its international presence with the opening of a new store in Seoul, South Korea, marking another step in the Italian food retailer’s global expansion.

The new Eataly is located on the 10th floor of the Hyundai Department Store Trade Center, in the heart of Gangnam, one of Seoul’s most prominent commercial districts. The new location is designed to offer consumers a combination of Italian dining, food retail, and culinary culture.

The Seoul store brings together three distinct areas. The Quick Service section offers gelato, pizza alla pala, coffee, and freshly baked products, providing customers with a more informal option for enjoying Italian food throughout the day.

The Pizza & Pasta restaurant focuses on Italian classics, including Spaghetto Eataly and Pizza Margherita, alongside a broad selection of grilled dishes. The format aims to combine traditional Italian recipes with an accessible restaurant experience for the Korean market.

Completing the new store is the Market, where visitors can browse a selection of Italian food products and wines to discover and take home. The retail area reinforces Eataly’s model of combining consumption with product discovery and giving international consumers direct access to Italian specialties.

The company described the opening as another opportunity to extend its international reach and promote Italian food culture beyond Italy. “We are excited to continue bringing the Eataly experience, Italian food and culture to the world!” the company said.
