The international trade show for gelato, pastry, chocolate, bakery, pizza, and coffee once again positions itself not only as a showcase for products and technologies, but also as a global platform bringing together manufacturing excellence, innovation, and international markets.

EXPANDING SCALE AND A BROADER INTERNATIONAL FOOTPRINT

Sigep World 2026 will feature an expanded exhibition area with 1,300 exhibiting brands, showcasing the best of Made in Italy, from supply chain traditions to advanced technologies. Alongside a strong and high-quality Italian presence, represented by leading companies across the foodservice supply chains, the international component is set to grow significantly, with a +28% increase in foreign exhibitors from 45 countries targeting the global out-of-home and sweet foodservice market.

Countries with strong industrial capacity and innovation leadership will play a key role alongside Italy. BUYER PROGRAM STRENGTHENS SIGEP WORLD’S GLOBAL REACH

The expansion of the exhibition offering is matched by a strong international incoming strategy. The Top Buyer Program will bring 500 buyers from 75 countries to Rimini, with the United States, India, Canada, and Brazil leading in terms of participation. The buyers represent major foodservice chains, large importers, and distributors seeking technologies, products, and solutions capable of anticipating global market needs.

INTEGRATED SUPPLY CHAINS AND CROSS-SECTOR INNOVATION

Sigep World presents a foodservice ecosystem in rapid transformation, where supply chains interact and evolve together.

  • Gelato remains a central focus through a structured cultural and business project, including initiatives such as “What is Gelato?” and “Gelato Meets Chains.” These programs are designed to demonstrate to international chains, hotels, and operators how Italian gelato and the entrepreneurial models behind it have become a global business driver.
  • Pastry continues to grow, driven by frozen products and technologies that expand laboratory capabilities.
  • Chocolate features major global players with increasingly sustainable processes, while the bakery sector reflects a new level of industrial maturity.
  • Pizza accelerates its international expansion through Pizza (R)evolution, focusing on advanced doughs and formats, gaining traction worldwide.
  • Coffee completes the picture with a journey from origin to cup, passing through the Sustainability District, which brings together producing countries and projects dedicated to sustainable supply chains, from African cooperation to Latin American cocoa. The Innovation Bar highlights how artificial intelligence and robotics are reshaping the contemporary coffee shop.

A key new strategic addition is the Luxury Hotel Food Experience, designed to connect premium hospitality brands with the excellence of Sigep World’s supply chains. The initiative creates experiential roundtables and networking moments dedicated to food and beverage managers and chefs from high-end hotels.

THREE HUBS DEDICATED TO FOODSERVICE INNOVATION

Alongside traditional sectors, Sigep World 2026 strengthens the areas that connect and enhance them. Foodservice technologies converge in the Kitchen Equipment Hub, showcasing solutions that will transform production, service, and operational management. The Frozen Product Hub reflects the growth of high-quality frozen food, positioning it as a strategic ally for formats and chains. Digital services take center stage in the new Digital District, where software, smart payments, and robotics are redefining both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
