Recently launched on the international stage, the two Italian dairy products impressed a panel of over 200 experts, including Michelin-starred chefs and renowned sommeliers.

The awards, organized annually by the International Taste Institute in Brussels, celebrate the taste and excellence of newly crafted food and beverage products. Fattorie Garofalo’s 100% Buffalo Milk Burrata was awarded an exceptional product rating with a score exceeding 90%, lauded for its flawless white color, creamy texture, and the distinct artisanal flavor that sets it apart. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Caramella received a ‘remarkable’ designation with a score above 80%, praised for its perfect balance of flavor and texture, delivering a harmonious sensory experience.
This accolade follows a rigorous selection process, where judges are chosen from top-tier experts in the culinary and sommelier fields, with many recognized by prestigious institutions such as Michelin and Gault&Millau. The tasting itself is conducted blind and in complete silence, with products evaluated against five internationally recognized criteria of sensory analysis: first impression, appearance, aroma, taste, and texture.
