Nonno Nanni, a stalwart of Italian fresh cheese production for over 75 years, is making its debut at the Sirha hospitality fair in Lyon (Hall 3.2, Stand G124), which runs until January 27. Based in Veneto, the company has long been synonymous with quality and craftsmanship in dairy. Its participation in Sirha—a global hub for food, equipment, and hospitality innovation—coincides with a significant milestone: the formal announcement of its acquisition of Italat France.
The fair spans seven halls dedicated to gastronomy, bakery, patisserie, and restaurant furnishings. At the Nonno Nanni stand, visitors can explore the company’s acclaimed fresh cheese range, displayed in a dedicated refrigerator. Alongside these are Italat France’s curated Italian specialties, including prosciutto, Grana Padano, olive oil, and truffle-based delicacies, reflecting the brand’s ambition to marry tradition with international appeal.
Also in the spotlight are two of Nonno Nanni’s affiliated brands: Nonna Rina, known for its artisanal-filled pasta, and Tonon, which produces premium mozzarella tailored for master pizzaioli. A section of the stand is devoted entirely to pizza mozzarella and burrata, emphasizing the group’s expertise in stretched-curd cheeses.
This collaboration with Italat France is a strategic move to deepen Nonno Nanni’s foothold in the French market. By leveraging Italat’s established distribution network among restaurateurs, wholesalers, and specialty retailers, the Italian company aims to accelerate growth and strengthen its competitive position across the region.
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Italat France at Sirha,” said Silvia Lazzarin, President of Nonno Nanni. “This marks an exciting step in our journey to bring Italian dairy excellence to a broader international audience and expand our global network.”
