Eataly, the world’s largest Italian food court, made a notable appearance at the seventh edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, the premier event in China dedicated to import and export. “This was a unique opportunity to showcase the rich culinary heritage of our country, explore the market, and connect with new customers,” the company stated in an official release.
For the first time, Eataly introduced over 100 Italian products from all regions of Italy, allowing attendees to discover and sample these offerings through the expertise of various specialists.
“We prepared pizza, fresh pasta, and durum wheat pasta from Gragnano on-site, complemented by a selection of fine Italian wines,” Eataly noted. “The reception was marked by extraordinary warmth and curiosity, and we take pride in having conveyed the exceptional quality of our gastronomic culture. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shanghai Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd and SSCW for their generous hospitality in hosting us at their pavilion.”
