In the United States, following the broadcast of the Chef’s Table episode featuring him, Franco Pepe, the pizza chef at “Pepe in Grani,” has become an international pizza star. In high demand and invited around the world, Pepe attended SIAL 2024 as a guest at the booth of Sorì, a Campanian company.
In Paris, Franco Pepe offered tastings of his signature pizza, the “Margherita sbagliata”. A white pizza and already an iconic symbol of Italian cuisine with olive oil, it is made with Fiordilatte Appenino Campano Sorì by Franco Pepe, raw tomato, and a basil reduction.
“We are very proud of this partnership with Franco Pepe,” says Antonio Sorrentino, CEO of Sorì, “not only because he is a leading figure in the culinary world, but also because he, like us, approaches his creations with almost meticulous dedication, putting the same care and precision into his work that we dedicate to the production of our products. Additionally, we share a love for the region where we were raised and where we have chosen to continue our activities: the Alto Casertano area in the Campania region”.
The wide range of high-quality dairy products offered by Sorì makes it an indispensable resource in the selection of ingredients by some of the best chefs and pizza makers in Italy and abroad.
Sorì exports to over 58 countries all over the world, relying on a distribution network and logistics capable of ensuring exports to the USA, Japan, Australia, and South America, as well as to the Arab countries and Middle Eastern markets.
