Granarolo: A Key Player at SIAL 2024

Granarolo is poised to be a key player at SIAL 2024, the world’s premier international agri-food fair, taking place in Paris from October 19 to 23. The Italian dairy group aims to showcase its commitment to quality and innovation by promoting its exceptional Italian cheeses and launching its new Granarolo Benessere High Protein line.

At Hall 7, Stand A065, Granarolo will unveil its most distinctive products, underscoring its dedication to enhancing milk quality through sustainable supply chains. The company is set to highlight innovations that respond to shifting consumer preferences and the demands of an increasingly global market.

This year, the focus will be on Granarolo’s range of premium cheeses and Italian dairy specialties. The spotlight will be on fresh cheeses, particularly those from the Apulian tradition, including the much-anticipated unveiling of its new production facility in Gioia del Colle (Bari). Additionally, Granarolo will feature hard cheeses and PDO varieties, such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Gorgonzola, and goat cheeses.

Recently, Granarolo garnered nine medals at the 35th edition of the World Cheese Awards, one of the most esteemed cheese competitions worldwide. The company also claimed six medals at the World Championship Cheese Contest 2024 held in Wisconsin.

In France, Granarolo is a leading player in the market for Italian hard cheeses, ricotta, and buffalo mozzarella, and it ranks second in cow’s milk mozzarella and mascarpone. At SIAL, attendees can expect to find Italian cheeses from the Casa Azzurra brand, French dairy specialties under the St. Colombe label, and the Délice d’Italie line for deli counters.

Moreover, the Italian group will introduce its Unconventional brand, a 100% plant-based alternative meat line developed by Italian researchers. This innovative line has rapidly established itself as a market leader, commanding a remarkable 55.6% share in the meat alternatives sector, primarily driven by its plant-based burger.
