The Moon Festival (中秋节) has been celebrated in China on September 10. Also called the Mid-Autumn Festival, it is the second most important holiday after Chinese New Year. It is an occasion when families gather to celebrate together and worship the moon, which traditionally symbolizes family unity and harmony.
Italian pastry and sweet bakery specialist Matilde Vicenzi is celebrating this important holiday in one of the countries in the world that most appreciates the Italian pastry tradition. And it does so with a special box (pictured).
“It is great to see how our Italian brand has entered homes all over the world, and that people who live far away from us, cultures different from ours, appreciate our pastries even for their traditional holidays. Happy Moon Festival!”, Simona Marolla, Export Marketing Manager, Matilde Vicenzi, said.
