Within the Extraordinary Italian Taste initiative, the Italian olive oil company Oleificio Zucchi’s products will soon be the protagonist of a master class – “Gold slick: extra virgin territory” – on November 16 (2-4 pm) at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum & Museum of the American Cocktail (1504 Oretha C. Haley Boulevard, New Orleans LA 70113).

This olive oil master class will be led by acclaimed New Orleans mixologist Anna Giordano, owner of Anna’s NOLA. She will be discussing the use of olive oil as an ingredient in cocktails and creative ways to pair olive oil with cocktails and cocktail-friendly foods. Light bites created by chef Dee Lavigne will be served as part of the seminar.

These events are part of Extraordinary Italian Taste, an ongoing Italian Foreign Ministry campaign that promotes awareness of genuine Italian foods throughout the world.
