Chef of renowned “Rampoldi” restaurant in Monaco, Antonio Salvatore announced together with Monte Carlo Hospitality Group (MCHG) the opening of “Casa Limone” restaurant in New York City. It is a welcoming and elegant Italian restaurant strongly inspired by the flavors, landscapes and scents of Southern Italy. Located in the Midtown area at 20 East 49th Street, not far from Rockefeller Center, thanks to its 133 seats Casa Limone offers the best of Mediterranean hospitality for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with indoor and outdoor dining options.
After receiving his first Michelin star in early 2021 for “La Table d’Antonio Salvatore”, Chef Salvatore’s big leap overseas to open his first restaurant in New York City retains a very personal character. In fact, Casa Limone restores the spirit of the Chef’s childhood in Basilicata, as well as the soul of the neighboring regions of Apulia, Calabria, Campania and Sicily.
“I am honored to open a new restaurant in the United States in these times and in this truly unprecedented phase of restarting” – says Antonio Salvatore. “Being able to offer in a metropolis like New York City the dishes and ingredients I grew up with is a great achievement. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Casa Limone.”
Monte Carlo Hospitality Group CEO, Alex Teisanu, says: “There has long been a symbiotic relationship between Monaco and New York, and we are proud to bring to New York the Mediterranean warmth that reigns in Southern Italy and a touch of Monaco’s hospitality.”
