The Specialty Food Association (SFA) announced that its Summer Fancy Food Show will be held September 27-29, 2021 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
“After consulting with SFA members and buyers through a recent survey, New York City and State officials, the Javits Center and health experts to gauge the safety and viability of moving forward with a live event in June, we have determined that a late third-quarter trade show has the best chance of success, providing a safe environment for all of our attendees and participating members” – says SFA in an official statement.
The live edition of the fair will only open to American SFA members. For international guests the online event named “Specialty Food Live!” will take place. Given pandemic restrictions in place since March 2020, this will be the sole Fancy Food Show of the year. For this year only, the event name is modified – Fancy Food Show 2021. SFA currently anticipated a return to its Winter and Summer Show schedule for 2022.
“SFA members who have a confirmed exhibit space for 2021, will receive an email the week of March 1 outlining the updated space selection process which will be done by priority point standing. SFA members who did not select space during the initial space draw will be able to select space in April” – SFA points out.
