Italy and chocolate can beyond any doubt be defined a long-standing and lovely relationship. Cristoforo Colombo, the first european to taste the chocolate during his trips to the new world, was an Italian. The first cutting-edge chocolate factory was built on 1826 in Italy, by Pier Paolo Caffarel, who further invented the gianduiotto.
And the future of Italian chocolate will keep being bright, thanks to Cioccolatitaliani and its ambitious expansion plans.
THE ITALIAN CHOCOLOGY
Italy, Albania, Kosovo, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and… Morocco. At the beginning of april, the Maghrebi country was not so hit by covid19, so it has been able to have a first, virtual taste of the Italian chocology exported by Cioccolatitaliani. “The location in Rabat, a great store of 1200 mq on 3 floors, is definitively ready and will open its doors in the first half of June” – says Vincenzo Ferrieri, CEO.
But what does it mean “Chocology”? “Chocology – says Vincenzo – it’s a new way to taste the chocolate, it’s the art to mix chocolate with coffee, pastry, ice-cream and even food. We have been the first to create this neologism and would like to spread the word all over the world”.
So, for Cioccolatitaliani, chocolate means above all creativity and it’s so represented in a variety of forms and products: from the classic and iconing pairing such as coffee, ice-cream and confectionery, to the most innovative with food, always of course, with a strong commitment on Made in Italy and a fancy Italian touch.

Despite the global pandemy, Cioccolatitaliani doesn’t want to stop.
“We did all our best to do not lose even one day, respecting of course the national protocol, closing the last day and reopening the first day possible. Infact we reopened two weeks ago in Middle East and on these days on the Balkans and Italy. In Morocco, besides the store in Rabat opening in some weeks, we have ready the one in Casablanca, that will open in July”.
Definitively, Cioccolatitaliani will keep waving the Italian flag all over the world.
