ANICAV BRINGING ‘RED GOLD FROM EUROPE’ TO THE USA
‘Red gold from Europe’ is the name of the EU initiative to raise awareness and knowledge of the excellence of EU canned tomatoes. Red for the rich, ripe color of the tomato, gold for their high quality, precious nature, the gold standard of tomatoes. Red gold from Europe is currently attending the Summer Fancy Food Show 2019 in New York City with daily cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, starting with Massimiliano Convertini and samplings the tomato-y delicacies they whip up. Last Sunday, ANICAV and Red Gold from Europe awarded the sustainability prize at the Italian Food Awards USA 2019.
