After the successful launch of its Sea Front Pasta Bar in Naples, Italy, Pastificio Di Martino prepares to bring its restaurant & store concept in New York in April as part of a mission to make the most popular Italian product a symbol of wellness, glamour and joyful experience. In an interview with Italianfood.net at the Winter Fancy Food Show 2019 in San Francisco, chief executive Giuseppe Di Martino detailed his plans for the US market, including the upcoming opening in Chelsea Market in New York which will serve 25 recipes of pasta every day and sell 126 shapes of pasta. The pasta maker, who has already opened 7 food stores and 3 pasta bars in Italy, also unveiled a new pasta box designed with fashion duo Dolce & Gabbana, whose partnership highlights the close ties between fashion and food.
