Andy DeCou, category manager at mid-west food retailer Schnucks, is upbeat about the level of innovation seen at the Winter Fancy Food Show 2019 in San Francisco. As he was touring the Italian Pavilion, the category manager told Italianfood.net that American consumers are looking for pre-packaged, grab-and-go snacks when it comes to charcuterie and cheeses. “This is the best show for new cutting edge things. We can go and find something new and differentiate ourselves,” DeCou said.
