We are importing directly from Italy, which is part of our strategy of innovation together with high-quality food and controlled labels said Jeremy Gosch, Hy-Vee EVP Strategy & Innovation, in this exclusive interview with Italianfood.net at Winter Fancy Food Show 2018. Hy-Vee – an employee-owned chain of more than 245 supermarket located throughout the Midwestern US – is concentrating particularly on private label. That is where Italian food manufacturers can play a key role. In fact, Hy-Vee has recently launched its first ever “Authentic Italian” promotional campaign named “Say Ciao to Italia”, with the involvement of the Italian Trade Agency. Another accomplishment of Hy-Vee was the development and launch of a brand new “Authentic Italian” private label line of products under the brand “Gustare Vita”.
