Italian dairy group Sabelli (Sabelli Spa, Trevisanat and Ekolat) is among the exhibitors of Marca 2018 (Hall 22, Booth B / 48 – C / 49), the fair dedicated to private label that is taking place in Bologna (on January 17 and 18). This is the second participation in the event since Sabelli acquired Trevisanalat, giving life to the second largest production group for table mozzarella in Italy. For Sabelli, the new year started with excellent economic and production news: in 2017 it reached a turnover of 80 million euro with an increase of 10% in value and 5% in volume. As for Trevisanalat, the growth was 10% in value and 5% in volume: the company of Resana (Treviso) reached a turnover of 55 million euros.

Marca 2018 is an important opportunity for the group based in the Marches region. In fact it can introduce itself to buyers and large-scale retailers as one of the main players in the Italian sector of mozzarella, with a market share of 12%. Sabelli of Ascoli Piceno, one of the leading Italian family-owned companies, can also boast a decades-long experience in the production of high-quality fresh cheeses. The acquisition of Trevisanalat and Slovenian Ekolat in November 2016 consolidated the group’s position as a partner for large-scale distribution both in Italy and abroad, thanks to technological know-how, production capacity, and a good price performance.
