It took place yesterday evening at the Kristallsaal Halle in Cologne, Germany, the awarding ceremony of the most innovative Italian products presented at Anuga 2017, the world’s top international food & beverage trade show. The third edition of the Italian Food Awards has been organized by Italianfood.net – the international integrated business platform launched by the Italian media Group Food – under the sponsorship of Italia del Gusto Consortium. During the awarding ceremony, Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italia, held an opening speech pointing out that the Italian companies’ collective in Anuga is the largest among the foreign ones.
Alberto Volpe, General Manager of Italia del Gusto Consortium, spoke about e-commerce, an increasingly strategic tool for selling more abroad: the partnership with Ocado is proof of this. Among the guests there was also Andrea Berti, Atalanta’s Business Development Director – one of the largest food importers in the US – who talked about the latest food trends in the US market starting with healthy food.
